Martin Malm Holmberg appointed Senior Advisor
Risk & Regulatory continues to expand and appoints Martin Malm Holmberg as Senior Advisor. Martin has a background as CEO of Transcendent Group (nowadays Advisense after joining forces with FCG) one of the leading GRC-consulting firms in Sweden. He brings vast and deep experience of scaling a consulting company, as well as a strong network of both clients and consultants, which will support Risk & Regulatory Advisory in its future journey.
We asked Martin a couple of questions for everyone to get to know him a bit better:
Welcome Martin, we are very excited to have you onboard. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
I’m 52 years old and was born and raised in the Stockholm Archipelago, in Sandhamn. I currently live in Stockholm together with my wife and a large bonus family — six children in total.
Professionally, I am the former CEO and Chairman of Transcendent Group AB, previously listed on First North Premier Stockholm Nasdaq (delisted in 2022). The group operated in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the Baltics, the Netherlands and Belgium. I have also worked as a Senior Consultant within Risk Management, Internal Audit, IT Audit and Information Security. Transcendent Group was acquired by FCG (presently Advisense) in June 2022.
Having the opportunity to combine consulting with leadership and entrepreneurship is the main reason why I love my job. One day I may be involved in recruiting expert consultants, and the next day working as a Head of Internal Audit or Senior Advisor.

The opportunity to share my experience in entrepreneurship and growth within professional services did attract me. In addition, I am convinced of the market need for a company like RRA and believe I can contribute to their growth journey.
How will Risk & Regulatory Advisory’s clients benefit from your experience?
With more than 20 years of experience within GRC, I’ve seen a lot and hope to be able to share my knowledge and insights with RRA and its clients.
What are you most excited about going forward with our joint Journey?
To once again take part, but this time in a supportive role, in a growth journey with great potential.
